Black Goodness Smoothie

After making my cucumber sliders, I noticed that something was missing. After having a refreshing meal, I needed something more fulfilling and sweet. I grew the idea of whipping up a smoothie! It’s so awesome how beautiful fruit and vegetables can come together to create such a beautiful creation.

I call this smoothie, Black Goodness Smoothie. Why? 1. It turned black on me after I took a few sips. 2. The combination was amazing! I added sliced apples to the smoothie and it worked great as a dipping sauce. So if you are craving sweets, make this smoothie and slice up 2 apples. I bet you won’t regret your sweet tooth after this combo. It’s refreshing, sweet, healthy, and it doesn’t threaten your weight.

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of kale
  • 3 stems of parsley
  • handful of blackberries
  • 1/4 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
